Obama wants school vending machine changes

WASHINGTON – The Obama administration will ask Congress to improve childhood nutrition by ridding school vending machines of sugary snacks and drinks and giving school lunch and breakfast to more kids.

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack said the administration will seek changes when Congress overhauls the Childhood Nutrition Act.

    Essentially Obama is saying parents are too stupid to control what their kids eat. Sounds like the beginning of the Nanny State and Obama wants to be Papa.

  2. I understand that he is concern for the health of the children. But, I think it is the parents prerogative to monitors their child’s daily intake.
