Iran proclaims new success in uranium enrichment

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad claimed Thursday that Iran has produced its first batch of uranium enriched to a higher level, saying his country will not be bullied by the West into curtailing its nuclear program a day after the U.S. imposed new sanctions.

  1. Well, Ahmadinejad stated that February 11th was going to be a shocker of a day. I’m guessing that THIS is that shocker, right? As much as this isn’t good news, this is not the shocker I expected. Maybe I should be thanking my lucky stars since I was expecting Ahmadinejad to actually lob a bomb over in the direction of Israel. To that conclusion, I’m very much relieved.

    Ahmadinejad says this is all about energy. If it truly was then he should not be making such a big deal of the nuclear power and would be working with the IAEA to make sure it stays safe.

    I’m just hoping that the president of Iran has the intelligence to know that if he ever went after Israel that there would be nuclear warheads barreling down on his little head within seconds.

    It’s reasons like these that we should never give up our nukes (note to Obama)
